I think when you are the 5th child between your parents and they are newlyweds with teenaged kids doing whatever the hell they please and can't be controlled they forget the first word of their newborn.

This may also be because they never did a baby book for me either. My little sister has one, but not me. It's all really interesting really.

So I have no idea what my first word was.

The problem with LiveJournal is that we think we're close, but really, we know nothing about each other.

So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me, something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about, or something you've always been curious about but have never asked, or something completely silly that you'd like me to answer for kicks. No limits on the range of questions, either; ask me anything you want to know about, whether it's a fannish opinion or a question about a fic of mine or trivia about my real life or my thoughts on events in the offline world.

45 Lessons In Life

My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:

1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.

3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.

4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents
will. Stay in touch.

5. Pay off your credit cards every month.

6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.

8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.

9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.

10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.

11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.

12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.

13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is
all about.

14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.

15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never
blinks.

16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.

17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.

18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.

19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to
you and no one else.

20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an
answer.

21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save

Someone made the BEST Callie and George fan vid with this song and itunes doesn't have it.

I am the proud new owner of a Blackerry. I'm happy with it, but I have to learn how to use everything.

I have texting.

I need to rebuild my phone book though.

But with a blackberry it's an addy book.

So if you'd be so kind to leave you name (first and last please) phone number and address that would be very sweet of you.

And yes, I'll screen this. It's just a pain to transfer everything.

My grades rocked. All A's and B's. I'm sitting on a 3.5 GPA. I'm happy. :=D

Hairspray is closing in January.(thank you Melissa for the heads up) I was SUPPOSED to go see it this summer when we were SUPPOSED to New York. Well I finish exams on like the 8th. And my birthday and Christmas are sort of close. Jenny lives in New York and said anytime I wanna come for a visit, I can, just book my flight on her credit card. Now she always gets me a really nice birthday pressent (either a check or Tiffany's) and the same goes for Christmas, sometimes both. I owe her like 300 dollars though, and I'll send her the money whenever my damn school cuts my check for my books. (Services for the blind gives me book money, wasn't here when I needed books). I found a flight for about 200 dollars. I have no idea how much the tickets to the show will cost. I wanna go so bad, but I feel so greedy asking. Also spending time with Jenny, just the two of us would be awesome. I just feel greedy asking.

So I left her a message and maybe we can get something worked out. Maybe I can be with her on New Years and we can do something fun. But I also know she'll want to see Phil, her boyfriend. She also has to work, maybe I can go to the city by myself one day and just wonder around. She's going to FL to see her mommy and daddy for Christmas, so we'd have to work it all out, but we could do it. I just feel I'm asking for too much, am I?

The problem with LJ is we all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about each other. Ask me something you think you should know about me, something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away. Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

So on Thursday Carter moved out and I all alone in my room. I plan on rearranging things today if I ever get around to get it and get my ass moving. The only downside to her moving out was the TV was hers but my friend Lindsey who I knew from high school has an extra TV and she is going to bring it over today at some point. She's been trying to catch up with me to do it and we just haven't been able to catch each other.

I got a job on campus. It pretty much rocks.
an audio person and we do all the stuff for events around campus. The people I work with are pretty cool. Last Friday night I got paid to play Bingo and on Monday night I get paid to watcha movie. Yesterday we watched the Muppets in Scott's office and played some Scene It before we had to go work. I sat in the sound booth and continued to play on my computer with my headphones on, making sure they didn't need something.

I've been trying to work out at least twice a week, which is sometimes hard. I perfer to go on Tuesday and Thursdays because I get done at 11:10, but this week I had to work, so Lauren and I went before we went to dinner one night. I think we're going to go try step areboics together.

I got my first round of tests back. I did really well. I just need to work harder in religion.

None of my other classes have tests. It's crazy that midterms are in three weeks. That's the next time I am going home. It will be the longest I go without seeing my parents. Only a week longer than the last time. They came up here last weekend and it was really nice to see them. My dad made me cry when he left me, because he said he was proud of me and when he said that the tears just started coming. We had fun. They brought me a box of food up and I still haven't looked to see exactly what is in there, but I have already eaten a box of the wheat thins. I LOVE THOSE, they are like my crack!

Yesterday I dropped my cell phone in water so I had to scramble to get a new one. And of course, we can only call locally on our dorm phones. So I was royally screwed, but Kathryn, who lives on my hall and who is in my english class, took me to Wal-Mart and I bought a new phone and then we took it to Alltel, which of course was a pain in the ass, because they said they couldn't turn it on. Finally, after calling them and getting transfered ten million times, I got someone who knew what they were doing and it all worked out :-D. Then I got Cookout for dinner since we were working. It was yummmy.

I think that covers everything, besides the fact if I had your phone number, I no longer have it, because of the phone incident, so you either have to call me or give it to me again :)

I have class, breakfast, class, work, dorm, meeting. I almost expecting the dorm room, well her side to be empty when I get back. There was a bitch fight of sorts down the hall last night. What fun.

Today has been stressful. My roomie may be moving out and I am trying to figure out where I stand, and it's all because her like new best friend here at college, can't live in her room, her and roomie can not and do not get along.

Is college too easy? I mean sure sometimes I have gotten frustrated with my papers and having to cite things in them and how I do that, but, is college too easy? I haven't been up until after 1 because I was doing school work. I have been up, just because I was being stupid. I go to my classes. The two tests I had this week seemed fairly easy to me. Is it because my professors gave study guides? And I did all the readings we needed to do, took notes in class, paid attention (for the most part) and did the assignments. Last night my roommate and the girl down the hall, were running around cramming for their bio. test today. I was done studying by 11:30. So is college too easy? Or something. Because I feel like I'm mising something.

I fell asleep watching a movie on Oxygen around 1ish. When she comes in, there's a sex toy show on. The movie was on Oxygen.

My roommate comes in tipsy at 3:30, she went back and fourth to the bathroom about six times in half an hour.

Now I'm awake, my wisdom tooth hurt. I take more Advil and try and fall back asleep.

I do.

4:50, my cell phone rings, not once not twice but three times. Then I'm up off and on til 7 or so.

Sleep til 10:30 or so. Roomie and her friend are in my room, trying to be quiet. They leave. I sleep til 11:30

If only I had 3,000 dollars, I could go to London and France on spring break.

But I do not.

So during spring break, I will be in Norwood. meh.

So tomorrow, I will be at college for two weeks, I have survived and I have no friends. I'm not kidding.

I try and be nice and talk to different people, but the number of meals I eat alone I don't even want to mention. Tonight at dinner these girls asked me to sit with them, they live in my dorm actually, probably because they pitted me or something.

I'm trying to join clubs and talk to people in my classes and everything, but my roommate is constantly NOT here and all her friends come looking for her and I wonder if they even know my name or that I live here too. I guess so since I'm the one answering the door.

At home I had friends, lots of friends and here I have no friends no matter how hard I try to make friends. I've never had to try to make friends in my entire life. It's always been easy but when girls come in and invite your roommate to stuff and your sitting right there, it hurts.

I really hope I didn't make a bad decision or that I spend four years friendless. I go to different things on campus and still I have no friends. No one just comes by my room to see if I wanna hang out or asks me to go anywhere.

Classes start tomorrow. Eeeep!

I have an 8:25 and a 9:50. I'm going to grab some breakfast in between. I'm going on an interview for a work study position at 1 in the nursing department. Wish me luck. I applied for two other positions as well. Two are like office assistant jobs and the other is more of a tech job, so we'll see.
